Athena pension is old Ottoman house and it is guesthouse since 1989, but we are running it since 1997. The house is two store and it has rooms with bathroom and share. It was bed and breakfast by now and it is good experence and everything is great but unfortunately we dont own the house, thats why we dreamed our own property always and finally we succesed to buy property and good news is, it is located just ten meter by. So, the fate made us think diffirent now and planing to run two guesthouse. It will be even better because this two property has nice options. Nice thing about Athena house is all the rooms are special because they are diffirent size and chracter and there is room types for most peoples like to stay but only eight rooms is sometimes difficult because we are member to online bookings and we afraid to be over booked in summers, and Athena is good for serving breakfast but one of our dream is to make barbequ and Athenas courtyard is small for that, in this point the house we bought and trying to arrance comes to big help for our dreams, because the other house has very big garden and it is not near to rooms. There is also stoneoven that we can use but we dont have experence for that. so, with two guesthouse we will have fourteen special rooms(at the moment we have Ottoman rooms with nice high ceiling and decored, with Acropolis view, with old safe and cupboards and in future it will be Ottoman rooms with four windows with all high ceiling and bathroom in wardrobe and some rooms with old fire place)  and lots of space for gardening(roze,vegetable and spice garden), camping, cooking, local wine storige, house museum(with room furnitures and decor, like a room in etnografya museum will tranfer you in like a real Ottomans lifes perriod in staying allready original restored old rooms and smoke nargile outdoor and homemade bread made in wood fire stonoven will offer itself old style life history)

About new property that we are renovating;
We bought  property in 2005 and trying to arrangce it for our guests..There is a house neigbore to us,  it was the Han of the Arabsons the camel dealers,,Han means as most of you know is a place to stay for, mostly Ottoman periods merchant people who travel with camels and stay over night but according to my search Han should have many room! So, the neighbore house is smaller then ours and maybe main entrance they have for camels and probably our property was the accomation for Ottoman merchants and our garden faces to Sadirvan(Ottoman city centrum) our property is almost 1.000sq and this Camels han property was probably more than 10.000sq in past(just guesing) and in our dead street only our neigbores and our property has big gates and only in our gate there is date mentioned(Athena pension has also old gate but you cant drive in and Athena house is younger then other two)..in fact, this is our one of the biggest wish to learn and to make it clear we would like to get help from Ottoman archives instead of making rumors or guesing..We will see..I have this ideas from google map and from our map! If you look to our map link you will see many dead streets(in turkish it is Cikmaz) and when I think more in buseness mind, probably most of this dead streets was road to this han but I do not know how old is this streets are, need more search :-)
